The Golf
Rodeo Dunes is an emerging public golf resort in northeast Colorado being developed by Michael Keiser, co-founder of Sand Valley and part of the Dream Golf family. Set on more than 4,000 acres of towering sand dunes with sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains, the property blends rugged Western landscape with links-inspired golf routing that feels unlike traditional parkland golf. The site’s natural contours and sandy dunescape provide a rare inland experience reminiscent of classic links territory.

Course 1
The first course at Rodeo Dunes, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, represents a return to the duo’s architectural roots, with routing carved into and around large dunes as naturally as possible. The team built this layout by hand in the tradition of classic links golf, allowing the land’s unique topography — including dunes up to 90 feet tall — to dictate fairway lines and green complexes.
Course 2
Rodeo Dunes’ second routing marks the solo debut of golf architect Jimmy Craig, long a Coore & Crenshaw associate. Drawing inspiration from historic links landmarks overseas, Craig’s design further explores the dramatic potential of the site’s large dunes and prairie features, adding contrast and scale to the resort’s golf offering. While the course is still under development, early descriptions point to bold contours and visioned strategy that partner well with the original routing.

Accomodations
Rodeo Dunes is being built as a public golf destination with planned expansions that include additional golf courses, a clubhouse, lodge, and private residences. The property is easily accessible from Denver and Denver International Airport, making it one of the closest Dream Golf-partnered golf destinations to a major metropolitan area. A founder program launched in advance of full public play in 2027.
