The Golf
Golf at Flying Horse Resort and Club features two private 18-hole championship courses in northern Colorado Springs, offering a high-end mountain golf experience shaped by firm conditions, dramatic views, and thoughtful routing. The resort highlights one course designed by Tom Weiskopf and the other by architect Phil Smith, creating a two-course lineup that provides meaningful variety across different settings and shot demands. Access is available exclusively to Club Members and Resort Guests.

Weiskopf Course
Weiskopf Course is Flying Horse’s flagship 18-hole layout designed by Tom Weiskopf and presented as an award-winning, links-influenced golf experience with mountain views. The course is also identified on the website as Audubon-certified, reinforcing its natural setting and environmental stewardship.

Flying Horse North
Flying Horse North is the resort’s second 18-hole championship course, designed by Phil Smith and set within the Black Forest area. The website emphasizes open, firm greens, Front Range views, and a routing that moves through forest and out into prairie terrain, creating notable hole-to-hole variety and a distinct contrast from the Weiskopf Course.

Fossil Trace
Fossil Trace Golf Club is a standout public golf experience and a natural addition to any Colorado golf trip, offering a dramatic change of pace from traditional mountain or resort layouts. Built on a former clay mine, the Jim Engh–designed course weaves through exposed rock formations, elevation change, and remnants of fossilized terrain, creating a visually striking and strategically engaging round.
King's Deer Golf Club
King's Deer Golf Club is an approachable yet intriguing 18-hole championship layout nestled in the rolling meadows north of Colorado Springs. Stretching to about 6,700 yards from the back tees with contoured fairways, strategic bunkering, and views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak, it blends a classic prairie feel with a touch of links-style character that rewards thoughtful shot-making.

Accomodations
Accommodations at Flying Horse Resort & Club are designed to complement its mountain golf experience with refined, elevated living spaces that keep guests connected to the courses and scenic northern Colorado Springs setting. The property offers Guest Rooms and Suites for traditional resort stays and Tuscan Villas for larger groups or extended visits, each delivering comfort, style, and convenience near golf and amenities.

Tuscan Villas at Flying Horse Resort & Club provide a more spacious and residential lodging option ideal for families, golf groups, or multi-night stays. Each villa features two king bedrooms flanking a large central parlor-style great room, with three villas offering southwest-facing views toward the golf course, Pikes Peak, and the Front Range, and a fourth showcasing west-facing panoramas over the greens and surrounding landscape.
