East Course
The East Course is The Broadmoor’s most iconic layout, known for its wide, tree-lined fairways, expansive greens, and dramatic mountain scenery that pervades every round. Originally routed by Donald Ross and later expanded by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course has hosted multiple major championships and offers a stern yet fair test where altitude, elevation change, and Colorado’s light air add unique strategic elements.

The West Course complements the East with its own mix of tree-lined corridors, rolling terrain, and strategically placed bunkers. Also shaped by classic architects including Donald Ross and Robert Trent Jones Sr., the West provides a slightly different feel with narrower fairways in places and subtle mountain influences that require thoughtful tee and approach decisions.
Fossil Trace
Fossil Trace Golf Club is a standout public golf experience and a natural addition to any Colorado golf trip, offering a dramatic change of pace from traditional mountain or resort layouts. Built on a former clay mine, the Jim Engh–designed course weaves through exposed rock formations, elevation change, and remnants of fossilized terrain, creating a visually striking and strategically engaging round.
