Our customers love what we do

Pinehurst No. 2
Pinehurst No. 2 is Pinehurst’s most celebrated course and one of the most influential designs in golf history. Famous for its crowned, turtleback greens and strategic simplicity, No. 2 rewards precise iron play, smart angles, and confident putting rather than raw distance. As a recurring U.S. Open host, it stands as the definitive expression of Donald Ross’s philosophy and the standard by which Pinehurst golf is measured.
Pinehurst No. 4
Pinehurst No. 4 presents a modern interpretation of Sandhills golf following its redesign by Gil Hanse. Bold sandy waste areas, dramatic green contours, and expansive sightlines create visual impact while reinforcing strategic decision-making. The course blends contemporary shaping with traditional Pinehurst principles, offering a dynamic contrast to the resort’s classic Ross layouts.

The course offers strong flow and variety, making it a consistent favorite for repeat rounds.
Pinehurst No. 10
Pinehurst No. 10 reflects Pinehurst’s modern evolution while remaining grounded in Sandhills design principles. The Cradle
The Cradle at Pinehurst is Pinehurst’s nine-hole short course created to celebrate the fun and social side of the game. With dramatic green contours, multiple teeing options, and a relaxed atmosphere, it emphasizes creativity over score. The Cradle has become an essential part of the Pinehurst experience, especially for afternoon and evening play.
Pinehurst No. 1
Pinehurst No. 1 is the resort’s original course and a welcoming introduction to Pinehurst golf. Shorter in length with generous fairways, it emphasizes accuracy, approach play, and touch around the greens rather than power. The course reflects Pinehurst’s early design philosophy and provides an enjoyable, walkable round that highlights strategy and precision for golfers of all skill levels.

Pinehurst No. 3
Pinehurst No. 3 offers a shorter, more compact routing that still demands thoughtful shot-making throughout the round. Restored to emphasize its Ross character, the course features smaller greens, natural sandy areas, and subtle elevation changes that place a premium on control. It packs a wide variety of challenges into an efficient layout, making it a favorite for golfers who appreciate nuance and rhythm.
Pinehurst No. 5
Pinehurst No. 5 delivers a balanced and approachable golf experience that fits naturally into the Sandhills landscape. With rolling fairways, varied hole lengths, and strategic bunkering, the course provides a relaxed yet engaging test. It serves as a reliable and enjoyable option within multi-round Pinehurst itineraries.

Pinehurst No. 6
Pinehurst No. 6 is known for its elevation changes and scenic routing across the resort’s western property. Longer holes and broader corridors give the course a distinct rhythm while still emphasizing positioning and solid approach play. Its terrain-driven layout offers variety and a different visual experience from Pinehurst’s more centrally located courses.
Pinehurst No. 7
Pinehurst No. 7 features broad fairways, significant elevation movement, and an expansive feel across its routing. Designed by Rees Jones, the course blends modern shaping with traditional Pinehurst elements, creating visual drama and strategic flexibility. It stands out for its scale and variety while remaining true to the resort’s design DNA.

Pinehurst No. 9
Pinehurst No. 9 brings a parkland-style contrast to Pinehurst’s more open courses. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, it features tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and elevated greens that emphasize approach accuracy. Its visual character and playing style provide a distinct change of pace within the resort’s lineup.
Pinehurst No. 11 (Coming Soon)
Pinehurst No. 11 is a coming soon and is an addition that expands Pinehurst’s modern offerings. Featuring wide playing corridors, expansive greens, and native sand areas, the course encourages creativity and thoughtful decision-making. Its design reinforces Pinehurst’s commitment to strategy-driven golf while introducing a fresh, modern feel.
