The South Course at Arcadia Bluffs offers a completely different experience from the Bluffs, embracing a classic, Golden Age design inspired by architects like C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor. Its template-style holes—such as Redan, Biarritz, and Punchbowl—feature bold green complexes, wide fairways, and strategic angles that challenge golfers to think rather than overpower the course. Unlike the dramatic lakefront setting of the Bluffs, the South Course unfolds across a more subdued, inland landscape, emphasizing strategy and shotmaking.
The Dozen
The Dozen at Arcadia Bluffs is a 12-hole short course designed for fun, creativity, and quick, relaxed rounds. Set on gently rolling terrain, it features a mix of imaginative par-3 designs with bold greens and interesting contours that invite players to experiment with different trajectories and shot shapes. The holes range from wedge distances to longer iron tests, making it enjoyable for beginners while still engaging skilled golfers. It’s a perfect complement to the resort’s championship courses.
The Lodge
The Lodge at Arcadia Bluffs offers an upscale yet comfortable retreat perched directly above the bluffs with sweeping views of Lake Michigan.
