The Red Course is a classic par‑72 layout designed by Robert “Red” Lawrence, featuring tree‑lined fairways with pine and eucalyptus that give it a traditional parkland feel amid rolling terrain and water hazards. Its closing stretch of holes (15‑18) is widely regarded as one of the most challenging finishes in the Phoenix area, with tough par‑4s, a long par‑3, and a demanding dogleg par‑5 that tests strategy and shot‑making late in the round, making it a favorite among locals and club members.
Blue Course
The Blue Course is a par‑70, shorter championship layout designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. that plays around 6,000 yards from the back tees, making it more approachable but still rewarding for all skill levels thanks to its mix of wide fairways and features that demand thoughtful play. Treated as a blend of character and subtle challenge, the course uses elevated small greens, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, plus tree‑lined parkland routing to keep rounds engaging despite its shorter length.

The Gold Course is a long, classic Robert Trent Jones Sr.‑designed championship layout playing over 7,300 yards with narrow tree‑lined fairways, strategic bunkering and water hazards that demand power and precision. Often nicknamed “Arizona’s Monster,” it has hosted high‑level qualifiers and offers a traditional parkland challenge that rewards thoughtful course management. Its combination of length, mature landscaping, and demanding finishing holes makes it a standout test within the Wigwam’s 54‑hole golf experience.
